CURRENTLY THERE IS A SHORTAGE DUE TO FACTORY PRICE INCREASES. Nylon Hand Sewing Thread is traditionally used in the upholstery trade to sew buttons onto thick cushions. It is smooth, shiny, holds the knots well but also is fairly easy to untie, comes in at least twenty shades, is stiff, yet fine enough to fit through most 11/0 seed beads and the ends can be melted to prevent fraying(after you have finished). The thread is sold by weight as 2 oz. spools. The amount of thread may vary slightly but in general there is about 170 yds. on each spool.
